We currently do not make Motorcycle helmets for children. However, size SMALL in our new Bicycle helmet (Hedstrong) may fit some children. 

DOT and ECE are both compulsory certification standards. ECE is certified by the Economic Commission for Europe, whilst DOT is certified by the Department of Transportation for the US. Please ensure that you have the correct certification for where you intend to ride.

Most items in the Sample Sale have a defect and so are sold at a reduced price; please note that the safety of the helmet will not have been compromised. However, not all Sample Sale products will have a defect, some are merely custom helmets that have been ordered incorrectly/returned by customers. (Please see each individual listing for details on the severity of the defect, if any).

All of our colours are hand mixed and so we cannot provide you with an exact colour code. We can however give you the closest matching Pantone colour code (for solid colours only). Please note, we are currently also in the process of trialling/developing home re-touch paint kits, which will be available to customers in the near future.

We work exclusively with Sena; all of their intercom/BT systems fit our helmets really well. There are two ways to proceed: 

Purchase your Sena system through us and we will install it free of charge. 

Send us your existing Sena system and we will install it for a £60 fee (plus any shipping fees incurred).  

Yes, you can send us your Hedon Helmet to have your intercom installed by us. If you purchased a SENA system through us, this will be free of charge; if the system was purchased remotely yourself, you will incur a £60 installation fee (any shipping fees incurred are also the customers’ responsibility). If you have a brand other than Sena, please contact our Customer Service team prior to sending via the live chat or by emailing aftersales@hedon.com. We need to confirm in advance that it is compatible with our helmets.

We are actively developing a line of vegan alternatives, which will be available in the near future. We currently do not have stock to fulfil any vegan requests promptly.

As a brand we are 100% British based. All of our products are designed and developed in our London workshop.  

Our components are sourced from all over the world; including UK, Belgium, Italy, and China. 

Our shells are made in China as they have the best technology. Most stock helmets are also assembled in China. The quality of each and every helmet is hand checked by our London workshop team before sending out. 

All Made-to-Order and Custom helmets are made from scratch at our London workshop, where we have our own paint booth and painter on-site. This ensures a better lead time for your customised orders.

Our helmets are composite fibre shells of fibreglass and carbon fibre. You can however request a full carbon fibre shell at an additional cost.

Yes, you can definitely get your own design created. Please navigate to the Bespoke page on our website and fill out the contact form in as much detail as possible. We will then be in contact shortly to discuss your ideas further.

If you don’t own a Hedon helmet yet, we strongly recommend to try one of our test helmets if you are planning to purchase a -Made To Order- or a Custom Helmet to get the right size. 

Please contact our Customer Service with the size you would like to try; You will then receive a link to pay for a £200 deposit and the shipping (Depending on where you are: UK: £15, EUR: € 39, ROW: £49).  

Once you receive the test helmet, please try it on and leave it on for a few minutes. With the returning labels already included in the box and the return form filled please return the test helmet.  

After return the helmet with the confirmation of your size and the final payments have been settled we will start the creation of your dream helmet.  

No, test helmets are only use for size confirmations. They are all thoroughly checked before they are dispatched and when they are received back.
